What redaction looks like
Example before and after from the app: RedactSnap detects and redacts names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, IDs, and account numbers—with visible labels so you know exactly what was found.
Before redaction
After redaction
Sensitive data is replaced with solid blocks. Export as PDF or image—the redaction is permanent and flattened.
How it works
Upload
In the app, add your PDF or image. Drag and drop or click to browse.
AI detection & redaction
RedactSnap automatically finds and redacts names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, IDs, and payment details.
Review & export
Check the results, then download your redacted file. Redaction is permanent and flattened.
Security & privacy
Precise, non-vague claims about how we handle your sensitive documents.
- Where processing happens
- Runs in your browser. Files never leave your device.
- File storage and retention
- Processed in memory. No files stored on our servers.
- Encryption
- All connections use TLS. Client-side processing keeps files local.
- Model training
- Your files are never used to train AI models.
- Access controls
- Sign-in protects your workspace. You stay in control of your files and session.
AI detection is highly accurate for common patterns. You can review all detections before exporting. For high-stakes documents, we recommend a second pass.
A dedicated security page is planned and will be linked when available.
